Blackout è un'app di focus e produttività. Non vendiamo i tuoi dati. Non mostriamo pubblicità. Raccogliamo solo le informazioni necessarie per far funzionare l'app.
1. Chi siamo
Blackout è sviluppata e gestita da Kunturi Design (Patricio Susanna). Per qualsiasi domanda relativa alla privacy puoi contattarci a kunturi.design@gmail.com.
2. Dati che raccogliamo
Raccogliamo solo i dati strettamente necessari per il funzionamento dell'app:
- Dati dell'account — email e nome utente, forniti al momento della registrazione
- Dati di utilizzo — sessioni focus completate o fallite, durata, attività selezionata
- Statistiche di gioco — XP, livello, streak, badge, vittorie e sconfitte
- Dati sociali — lista amici, duelli inviati e ricevuti
- Avatar — il seed scelto per il tuo avatar DiceBear (non è una tua foto)
- Push token — il token del dispositivo per l'invio di notifiche push, solo se dai il consenso
3. Come usiamo i tuoi dati
I tuoi dati vengono usati esclusivamente per:
- Fornire le funzionalità dell'app (sessioni, duelli, leaderboard)
- Notificare i tuoi amici quando completi o fallisci una sessione
- Calcolare XP, livelli, streak e badge
- Inviare notifiche push se hai dato il consenso
- Migliorare l'app tramite analisi aggregate e anonime
4. Condivisione dei dati
Non vendiamo, affittiamo o cediamo i tuoi dati personali a terze parti per scopi commerciali o pubblicitari. I tuoi dati vengono condivisi solo con:
- Firebase (Google) — per autenticazione, database e notifiche push. Firebase è conforme al GDPR. Privacy policy Firebase →
- Expo — per la distribuzione delle notifiche push tramite Expo Push Service.
- DiceBear — per la generazione degli avatar. Viene inviato solo il seed (una parola come "wolf" o "tiger"), nessun dato personale.
5. Notifiche push
Le notifiche push sono opzionali. Ti chiediamo il consenso esplicitamente durante l'onboarding. Puoi revocare il consenso in qualsiasi momento dalle impostazioni del tuo iPhone (Impostazioni → Blackout → Notifiche).
Utilizziamo le notifiche per:
- Avvisarti quando un amico completa o fallisce una sessione
- Avvisarti quando ricevi o accetti una sfida
6. Conservazione dei dati
I tuoi dati vengono conservati finché mantieni un account attivo su Blackout. Se elimini il tuo account, tutti i tuoi dati vengono cancellati entro 30 giorni dai nostri server.
7. I tuoi diritti (GDPR)
Se sei residente nell'Unione Europea, hai i seguenti diritti:
- Accesso — puoi richiedere una copia dei tuoi dati
- Rettifica — puoi correggere dati inesatti
- Cancellazione — puoi eliminare il tuo account e tutti i dati direttamente dall'app (Impostazioni → Elimina Account)
- Portabilità — puoi richiedere i tuoi dati in formato leggibile
- Opposizione — puoi opporti al trattamento dei tuoi dati

8. Sicurezza
I tuoi dati sono archiviati su Firebase con crittografia in transito (TLS) e a riposo. L'autenticazione avviene tramite Firebase Authentication. Non memorizziamo mai le password in chiaro.
9. Minori
Blackout non è destinata a utenti di età inferiore ai 13 anni. Non raccogliamo consapevolmente dati di minori di 13 anni. Se scopriamo di aver raccolto dati di un minore, li eliminiamo immediatamente.
10. Modifiche a questa policy
Potremmo aggiornare questa Privacy Policy occasionalmente. In caso di modifiche significative, ti informeremo tramite notifica in-app o email. La data di "Ultimo aggiornamento" in cima alla pagina riflette sempre la versione più recente.
Blackout is a focus and productivity app. We do not sell your data. We do not show ads. We only collect the information necessary to make the app work.

2. Data we collect
We only collect data strictly necessary for the app to function:
- Account data — email and username, provided at registration
- Usage data — completed or failed focus sessions, duration, selected activity
- Game statistics — XP, level, streak, badges, wins and losses
- Social data — friends list, duels sent and received
- Avatar — the seed chosen for your DiceBear avatar (not a photo of you)
- Push token — your device token for push notifications, only if you give consent
3. How we use your data
Your data is used exclusively to:
- Provide app features (sessions, duels, leaderboard)
- Notify your friends when you complete or fail a session
- Calculate XP, levels, streaks and badges
- Send push notifications if you have given consent
- Improve the app through aggregated, anonymous analysis
4. Data sharing
We do not sell, rent or transfer your personal data to third parties for commercial or advertising purposes. Your data is shared only with:
- Firebase (Google) — for authentication, database and push notifications. Firebase is GDPR compliant. Firebase privacy policy →
- Expo — for push notification delivery via the Expo Push Service.
- DiceBear — for avatar generation. Only the seed is sent (a word like "wolf" or "tiger"), no personal data.
5. Push notifications
Push notifications are optional. We ask for your explicit consent during onboarding. You can revoke consent at any time in your iPhone settings (Settings → Blackout → Notifications).
We use notifications to:
- Alert you when a friend completes or fails a session
- Alert you when you receive or accept a challenge
6. Data retention
Your data is retained for as long as you maintain an active account on Blackout. If you delete your account, all your data will be erased within 30 days from our servers.
7. Your rights (GDPR)
If you are a resident of the European Union, you have the following rights:
- Access — you can request a copy of your data
- Rectification — you can correct inaccurate data
- Erasure — you can delete your account and all data directly in the app (Settings → Delete Account)
- Portability — you can request your data in a readable format
- Objection — you can object to the processing of your data

8. Security
Your data is stored on Firebase with encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest. Authentication is handled by Firebase Authentication. We never store passwords in plain text.
9. Minors
Blackout is not intended for users under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If we discover we have collected data from a minor, we will delete it immediately.
10. Changes to this policy
We may occasionally update this Privacy Policy. For significant changes, we will notify you via in-app notification or email. The "Last updated" date at the top of the page always reflects the most recent version.
